Park Atlantis is a vacation resort, located in a 10 hectares large park, well situated along the Belgian coast. It is located next to the city of De Haan with its typical architecture. It is an oasis of rest, with lots of green landscapes, at 800 m from the North Sea and its sandy beach. A protected set of dunes incorporates a clean walking area of 150 hectares, with in the immediate neighborhood, many beautiful and countryside-like villages. You are in a central location: only 10 km from Ostend and Blankenberge and 20 km from Bruges, the "Venice" of the North. Visits to Damme, amusement parks, the Zwin,... and even a one day visit to London are some of the many possibilities.

LOCATION

You use exit number 6 of the E-40 when driving to Park Atlantis. Then you follow the signs 'De Haan' until you arrive at Klemskerke. Follow the direction 'Vosseslag'. When you arrive at the market place, you go to your left. Park Atlantis is then ahead of you. You can also drive to Park Atlantis from the center of De Haan. Going in the direction of Ostend or Bredene, you'll see Park Atlantis at your left after about 2 kilometer when you arrive at the small bridge of Vosseslag.

YOUR RESIDENCE

You stay in cozy flats in the residences of Orchidee (ground floor - for 2 to 4 persons), Acacia (ground floor - for 2 to 4 persons) or Dahlia (ground floor or first floor for 4 to 8 persons). For the latter category you also have the option to book an apartment with a private garden of about 40 m2. In all cases we can offer closely located flats suitable for larger children and groups. All flats are equipped with colour TV (cable connection), terrace, microwave, and separate bathrooms (2 bedrooms for Dahlia). One small animal is allowed.

We have our own caretaker, who will look after you when arriving at the park. This avoids waiting at the reception. She guarantees a personal service as well as support during your stay.

Orchidee and Acacia residences:

We can offer you in both residences ground floor flats, which are well located. These flats have a surface of 40 M2 and consist of a living room, a separate bedroom with a double bed as well as a bathroom. In the living room, the sofa can be converted in the evening into a real bed. The furniture is functional. The inventory list is extended and is sufficient for 6 persons. In addition, a colour TV set (cable) is available, a quality stereo radio as well as some extra's such as an iron and ironing-board, eiderdowns, clock, a small and larger vacuum cleaner, toaster, mini-grill, microwave with utensils, coffee maker, electrical fruit press, water heater, etc. A bed for a child can always be added and with us this is always free of charge. A new standard was recently introduced. The kitchen has been enlarged, a parquet floor was installed and the bathroom has been renewed (see pictures).

Dahlia residence:

This residence is for many the most charming since its inner-garden creates a very special atmosphere. It is constructed in the style, which is so typical for De Haan. The flats have a surface of 70 M2 and consist of a kitchen, suitable for 8 persons, a large living room of about 25m2 with L-shaped seats in which on one side a real bed is incorporated. In addition, there is one bedroom with a normal bed of 1,60 M as well as a second bedroom with two bunk beds (for 4 persons). There are two small bathrooms also, each with a shower, washing-stand and toilet. The equipment is sufficient for 10 persons. Some extra's are available such as a larger TV set and quality stereo installation with two speakers, a video installation with 5 films, an electrical BBQ,.... This apartment comes with two parking slots. The larger terrace has two tables and chairs for 8 people. Closely located flats are available for large families and groups.

The flats in the corners have a private garden of about 40 M2 and are oriented to the south. The apartments in Dahlia are also suitable for two families requiring a private bedroom and bathroom, but who are willing to share the other facilities. When used as such, Dahlia is a very economical formula.
