We have created a second e-mail list fmeainfoupdate@egroups.com. This new list will be used only to inform subscribed members of updates of the site. The fmeainfo@egroups.com list will remain a moderated e-mail list.

Some new pages have been added: a dedicated books page, a literature reference page, an abstracts page.

Some 50 links are currently under review, we hope to have them on the site before April 15.

Since we installed the site monitor one month ago, our site got more than 3500 visitors on the main page, with a peek of 471 visitors on one single day. The e-mail list fmeainfo@egroups.com has today 211 subscribers. We are pleased with the succes and are encouraged to collect further data for the site.

Febr. 15, 2000

We've added a web statistics feature, this allows us to get an idea about how often the site is visited. On the first day, more than 50 different visitors came to take a look. This is far more than we expected. Also for the first time our site appeared on search robot, so more people will be able to find our site.

We are collecting data for the 50 new links. We hope to update the site by the end of this week.

We've added a search engine, a bulletin board and a guestbook. The site is becoming more and more performant. It's up to you to use it.

We processed some more questionnaires. The results are beginning to show some trends.

In order to obtain 1000 questionnaires, we decided to extend the time frame till July 2000.

More than 100 questionnaires have been received. We continue our efforts to collect data. We appreciate your help.

We are approaching number 100 for our questionnaire.

In the next weeks we will focus on collecting data from regional centres.

We are also considering to start a newsgroup.

A page with links to publications, papers and books has been added.

A page with links to FMEA research has been added.

15 days after the start of this site, its getting finally some volume that makes it worthwhile visiting.

A page with links to service and training centres has been added.

A page with software links has been added. If you know some FMEA-software that is missing in the list, then please inform us.

A page with links to information sources has been added. Again your contribution is welcomed.

And finally we started with the processing of our first results. It has been a busy day.

Some people asked questions about our organisation, why we are doing this etc. Therefore we added an "About this site"-page where you can find some information about all this.

More and more results are coming in. We have started locating other information centres, on-going research etc. In case you have some useful information, please send it to our webmaster.

A few hours after sending out the questionnaire to the 4 newsgroups, we get our first results. We are getting organised to process the results.

5 days earlier then planned we can start with the data collection. A request to complete the questionnaire is send to 4 newsgroups. Depending on the feedback we receive we will increase our efforts to at least obtain our 1.000 completed questionnaires.
