The F40 had to be the ultimate Ferrari. It was a racebred sportscar with no luxuries.
The coach was designed by Pininfarina. The engine had two Japanese IHI turbo compressors and developped 478HP from a 2.9L V8.
The Ferrari F40 was the last Ferrari produced during Enzo Ferraris' live.
