Different excercises

The watertrials are officially recognised by our kennel club "Koninklijke Maatschappij Sint-Hubertus" for Landseer European Continental Type and Newfoundland. Each year both club's organise water trials to get an official A - B - or C certificate, where "C" is the most difficult. Four excercises have to be done.

A CERTIFICATE

° Dog has to jump out of the boat and swim 50m to shore.
° Dog is on shore and has to get a dummy given by his handler in the boat (50m)
° Dog is on shore and has to swim 25m to the boat and bring the boat back to shore
° Dog is on shore and has to swim 25m and bring in a dummy doll

B CERTIFICATE
° Dog is on shore and has to bring in the boat who is at 50m
° Dog is on shore and has to bring in a dummy doll  who is at 50m
° Dog is on shore and has to bring in a dummy trown out of the boat at 25m
° Dog is on shore and has to bring in the boat which is at 25m

C CERTIFICATE
° Dog is in the boat at 50m and has to jump out and swim to other boat with 3 persons at 25m. He has to bring  this second boat to shore.
° Dog is on shore and has to bring a life saving line to his handler in the boat at 25m
° Dog is on shore and has to bring in a drowning person over 25m
If owner and dog get the minimum points aquired,judged by an official judge,they get their certificat. The dog must have succeeded in A before he can go for B, etc.
